Inspiration Behind Our Cause:

 

Our Founder and President, Regine Brown's path was illuminated by a profound personal tragedy - the loss of a child. This heart-wrenching experience, combined with the harsh realities of the pandemic, revealed the tremendous disadvantages and burdens carried by mothers, especially those trapped in low-income jobs. What inspired us was witnessing the unwavering determination and love of mothers, even in the face of limited support and dwindling resources. The notion of "drive-thru baby showers" symbolized a ray of hope, underscoring the pressing need to address the exorbitant costs of children's necessities. Mothers were struggling, and we knew we had to act.

Our Backstory:

 

We are intimately familiar with the trials and tribulations of motherhood. Conceiving during the pandemic and enduring the heartbreak of losing a child due to medical neglect and unforeseen circumstances, we recognized the vital role of support networks. We are mothers ourselves, raising three young children, and we experience the daily juggling act of balancing motherhood, education, and financial constraints. These experiences formed the bedrock of Heaven is Melo. Our commitment is unwavering - to make a positive difference in the lives of struggling mothers by providing them with the basics, ensuring no mother has to face the daunting challenges of motherhood alone.
